At 7,500 lb s displacement the 265 is no "lightweight" compared with similar sized competitors, but the extra weight and a seaworthy 24' degrree deep vee hull result in a capable small fisherman able to run in rough sea conditions with confidence. Standard features include bait boxes,tackle locker,removeable fish box and a compact cabin with a convertible vee berth/dinette,galley and enclosed head. Construction and finish are above average throughout. In the jackshaft model, the engine is mounted amidships and the engine is connected to the Dup-Prop outdrive via the jackshaft. With the engine located under the bridgedeck, service access is very good . . .
