DESCRIPTION AND HIGHLIGHTS
The boat was completely rebuilt about 2 years ago ago as an inshore/offshore fishing and utility boat. It has all new electronics (even has 3 underwater cameras!), new transmission, new generator, and new prop along with new decking, gunnels, windows, roof, etc. The engine was replaced in 2005 and is in great shape. It has a Caterpillar 3126TA/, 420 hp Engine. It's good for about 15,000 hrs, so it is a "young" engine at 4900 hours.
Additionally, the hull has three separate water tight compartments with separate bilge pumps. Before owner purchased boat, it had a Coast Guard "T" rating allowing it to take 25 people for hire. All one needs to do is add a railing, smoke detectors, and some more fire retardant insulation near the engine, and the T rating can be reinstated. This is very unusual for a boat this size, and actually you can't buy a new one that would be able to have such a rating. This would allow it take out larger parties for hire (e.g., bachelor parties, funerals, sea taxi, as well as larger fishing groups) . Quite a Unique boat for the right buyer.
